A Moment from Practice
</p>
<p>
“One unforgettable moment in counselling: A boy who spoke only a little German picked a card and read it aloud in his first language. His face lit up immediately. For a moment, it seemed as if he had arrived. Then he looked at me and said: ‘You understand me!’ In that moment, language was no longer a barrier. It became a bridge – to his experiences, his thoughts and his very own strengths.”

<h3>
Why this tool was created
</h3>
<p>
Building bridges, sharing resources: This is the multilingual edition of the well-established Strengths Treasure Box for children and young people. It was developed to offer young people from different cultural backgrounds and with diverse life stories appreciative points of connection.
</p>
<p>
The set makes real encounters at eye level possible. It invites therapists, clients, educators and families to meet each other in a new way, lower barriers and allow trust to grow.
</p>
<p>
Especially in therapy and counselling, language is far more than the translation of words. When a young person is allowed to arrive in their own language and feel accepted, it often becomes easier to access their own strengths. This is exactly why this treasure box was created.
